When should we book our hire suits?
Our stocks are extensive however we would suggest four - six months before so we can guarantee your choice. For evening wear, whilst we can often accommodate immediate orders, to guarantee availability and a wide choice, reservations should ideally be made at least a week in advance.
Do you need to see the party together?
Not necessarily, we will make a note of how many suits you will need. we can then fit each person when they are able to call in.
When should we come for a fitting?
We will make every effort to provide you with a suit up to the day of the event. However, to guarantee availability and a perfect fit we ask that all fittings are completed at least six weeks before the event.
What if some of our party can't get to the store?
No problem, we can find a shop in any town or city in the UK that will measure up any of your groomsmen that cant get to our shop in Leicester for a suit fitting. We can also send out a self measurement form for anyone oversees.
Can you custom make waistcoats and accessories?
Yes, we can organise this for you, we need at least 8 weeks notice
When can we collect our suits?
Outfits will be ready on the Wednesday from 3.30pm onwards of the week of function. If these times are not suitable alternative arrangements can be made by request.
When do we return the suits?
Please return by 12.00pm on the Tuesday following the event. If these times are not suitable alternative arrangements can be made by request.
Will we be asked to pay a deposit?
A non-refundable holding deposit of £100 is required on the day of the booking for wedding parties and £20 for dinner suits, this will be deducted from the balance of the outfit.
We are going abroad, and will need our outfits for several weeks - will it
be too expensive to hire?
Not at The Wedding Hire Company. If you need suits for between 1-7 days there is no surcharge on our normal rates. For hires between 8-21 days the surcharge is normally 50%. Contact us for a detailed quotation.
